A wonderful opportunity to see some of the great works from Heilongjiang province, North-east of China, from twentieth century up to the present day.
"Since its foundation in the late 1950s, the printmaking Great Northern Wilderness School has produced generations of outstanding printmakers and its achievements have been fruitful. Located on the Black Earth in the northern frontier of China, the school is regarded as the earliest printmaking group in China, and a leader in the contemporary Chinese printmaking arena."
